River Spey Canoe Trip

Next Course

Dates for this spring/summer will be coming soon.

Description

Ability - Novice to intermediate, paddlers should be able to turn a canoe, use a stern rudder and have a good level of fitness.

The River Spey is one of the classic canoe trips of the UK, and is one that provides novice paddlers with a great introduction to canoe tripping.

This trip starts at Loch Insh and finishes roughly 70 miles and four days later in Spey bay, with three nights of wild camping along the way.

Starting at loch insh provides paddlers with enough time to brush up and learn new skills before arriving at Grantown on Spey, where these skills will be put to the test navigating through some thrilling grade two sections of river.
