Matt can offer paddle sport technical advice to centres, hire companies, schools, universities and clubs. This advice is built on over 25 years of experience within the outdoor industry, performing a variety of roles including, Chief instructor, Centre manager, Activities manager, Apprenticeship coordinator, British canoeing coaching, Leadership and Performance award provider. Within all these roles Matt was writing, reviewing and facilitating, risk assessments, operating procedures, management systems and incident plans that are an essential part of the smooth running of any paddle sports operation.
Matt is very active within paddle sports and holds a number of provider roles for British Canoeing, which ensures that you will be offered the most up to date and current level of best practice within the industry.
A safe and successful paddle sports operation is built on procedures that are owned and understood by all staff especially those at the point of delivery. To support this Matt offers training and engagement workshops to staff of all levels.
With this in mind all writing, reviewing and amending of technical advice is done as collaboratively as possible, often involving the delivery of hands on training to staff.
Matt holds the relevant level of public liability, and professional indemnity insurance required by your insurers to be providing you with this advice.
