Emergency First Aid at Work + Forestry (EFAW + F - 8 hours contact time)

The Forestry Commission Recommend that anyone working in the forestry industry annually attend an Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW), with extra topics relevant to the risks and nature of working in this environment (+ F)

This course follows the same core topics covered in the 6 hour EFAW, with a further two hours covering the following topics, that are relevant to people working more remotely, with heavy machinery and dangerous equipment/tools.

• Dealing with severe/catastrophic bleeding
  
• Extremes of temperature
  
• Crush injuries
  
• Lymes disease
  

This course will be run over one day.
